WINTER RE-HANG
A NOTE FROM KATHY
The winter rehang is complete and I’m very happy with the results. Thank you to my crew for their creativity, flexibility and willingness to work together so well. And my great thanks to the artists who contributed artwork for this quarter. We have a display of work that is both beautiful and evocative and I’m looking forward to seeing the reactions of visitors. Á propos of that, I want to remind you of the PAA/ASA reception on Friday from 5:00-7:00. Tell your neighbors and bring your friends. There will be food, wine and chocolate. What could be better!
Just a couple if reminders:
1. ASA does require that artwork to be hung on the wall be wired for hanging. Sawtooth and ring hangers are not permitted.
2. I think there is a general assumption by visitors that artwork on the wall is original unless otherwise noted. If your work is a print, giclée or any other type of copy, please be sure to note that on the displayed label.
3. I would like to encourage you to read the weekly ASA updates. This is where you are most likely to find information/ instruction regarding upcoming events and activities. Let a board member know if you are not getting the updates.
4. And, finally, please remember that if you have any problems, complaints or suggestions regarding the rehang process, do not hesitate to contact me.
