About this event

NEOCOLOR™ II AQUARELLE crayons by Caran d'Ache are more than an accent for watercolor paintings. These versatile tools can be used to accent, build, or enhance works of all water-soluble mediums.

Join Tara Choate as she covers techniques for NEOCOLOR™ II AQUARELLE crayons as well as ideas for starting backgrounds, exploring meaning, and making your painting more personal.

While students are welcome to bring their own art crayons, there is no need to purchase NEOCOLOR™ II AQUARELLE crayons. They will be provided.

Students should come to class with lots of watercolor appropriate paper, but it does not have to be pristine. Students are encouraged to gesso over old paintings and bring those along for practice and/or building backgrounds.

- Brushes
- Watercolor paint
- Pencil
- A few reference photos
