Learn the history and the art of Monotype Printmaking. Monotype, in printmaking is a technique that generally yields only one good impression from each prepared plate. Participants will use water-based printing ink on an acrylic plate to create their prints. Learn how to make portraits and other imagery.
Materials students should provide: The instructor will provide all materials.
Materials provided by the instructor: Printmaking Paper, Ink and Tools.
Fee: $75 for ASA members and $80 for non-members.
Expected ability Level: No experience necessary.
Number of Students: Minimum 5 / Maximum 10
