This is a two day series of classes . Plan to attend both days.

Learn the basic principles of painting almost any landscape, including shape, form, color, contrast, balance and more.  Produce several paintings with new knowledge learned in class.  Paint in your medium of choice on board or canvas of any size. paint realism or move to abstract.  Learn how to interpret them in your personal landscape style. 

Materials students should provide: Your painting medium of choice and substrates for painting. Your favorite tools, brushes, etc. and other materials you use for your medium of choice. 

Materials provided by the instructor: Acrylic and oil paints, palette knives. brayer, squeegee, oil and watercolor papers. Class handouts and instructional materials. 

Fee: $110 for ASA members and $120 for non-members.  Registration and payment are required in advance.
  

Material Fee:  $20  Plan to pay the material fee directly to the instructor at the time of the class.  Cash or check only
 
Expected ability Level: No experience necessary.

Number of Students: Minimum 5 / Maximum 10

Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
