Saturday November 20, 2021, 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM

This is a class on acrylic paint pouring, it is a form of abstract painting.  Instead of using art brushes we will pour paint out onto our canvas. Then you tip and tilt the canvas, using gravity to move the paint around as the colors bubble up within each other. The colors swirl and form an abstract painting.   Several techniques will be covered.

Materials will be provided by the teacher. No experience necessary. I will explain and show you how to do a successful acrylic paint pour. Every student will create a unique piece of artwork to take home.

Classes will run approximately 2.5 - 3 hours long. Students will either take home wet paintings that day, or pick them up the next day.  Please wear clothing that you won’t mind getting paint on.

There is a material fee of $10 to be paid to the instructor at the beginning of class.
