This class covers applying epoxy resin over a finished acrylic painting.  You bring in a finished piece of your artwork to apply resin onto.  You can bring multiple pieces for a minimum additional charge.  I will show you how to clean and prepare the surface and how to deal with the edges.

Student experience: Beginners welcome, no experience necessary.

 

Materials provided by student*:  Painters tape, Scissors, Dress appropriately in work clothes

Materials provided by instructor: Painters Tape, Epoxy Resin, Heat Gun, Handheld Torch, Nitrile Gloves


Class fee for ASA members $80/Class fee for non-members $85

Minimum: 2 students     Maximum:  16 students

Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
