Friday's class is 11 AM to 2 PM, Saturday's class is 11 AM to Noon

 

In this class we will create a rainbow colored, seahorse with epoxy resin.   The seahorse is made of wood that the instructor cuts out by hand and shapes.  The students can pick any number of colors for their seahorse, and where they want to place their colors.   The colors are crafted with pigment powder that is mixed into the epoxy resin.  

 

Student experience: Beginners welcome, no experience necessary.


Comments: You will have to pick up your seahorse the next day, as it's too wet to move for 24 hours.

 

Materials provided by student:  None.  Please dress appropriately for using paint.

Wood seahorse, painter's tape, epoxy resin, pigment powders, acrylic paint, nitrile gloves, cups, heat gun, butane torch

Class fee for ASA members $145/Class fee for non members $150

Minimum: 2 students     Maximum:  12 students

Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
