Art Camp 

August 28th- September 1st   
 

Mondays through Fridays, from 10 to 3pm. 

Calling young artists! This ART Day Camp is designed to keep kids busy with artistic activities that develop their creativity, curiosity and problem solving skills. The day will be broken up into 4 parts. Mornings will start with multiple table activities and crafts so that campers can choose what they want to start off doing. Then we will work on an art project together, learning art techniques and styles. Lunch time will be from 12:00 to 12:30 (campers need to bring their own lunch). Each day we will also work on developing a story and illustration to make a book about how the Tide Pool/Sea Star Sculpture outside at LCCC. We will have an afternoon outside game time, and the final hour will be devoted to a walk on the Devils Lake state park train just East of LCCC where we will collect items from nature to make an Outdoor Nature Museum. For ages: 7 through 13 years old 

Fee: Camp fee= $85 per youth, plus $15 materials fee 

Total: $100 per camper per week (scholarships available) 

Required: Campers need to bring packed lunches, raincoats and boots (just in case)
