This is a 1 day class


This class will focus on the concept of atmospheric perspective. You will learn to mix colors to cool and tone so that objects appear to recede in more distant areas. Learn watercolor techniques at the same time! Follow along with the instructor using a prepared line drawing. For those with more experience, bring your own reference photo.


Students: 
 Instructor will provide all materials. If you have palette, brushes and water bucket, bring them. If you don't the instructor will have disposable and/or loaners available.

Instructor:  All materials for the project will be provided. 


Expected ability Level: Some experience helpful, but not required. Beginners welcome. No drawing experience required.

Class fee for ASA members:
 $55

Class fee for non-members: 
$60

Material Fee:   $10 to be paid in class

Number of Students: Minimum 4 / Maximum 14

Registration cancellations will be accepted
Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
