Subject: Important Information on January Art Display
From: Artists' Studio

Greetings ASA Artists!

Hard to believe this whirlwind of a year is coming to an end. ASA had to adapt this year to the numerous challenges a pandemic brings. We are looking forward to starting fresh next year and are prepared to face the unknown.

The theme of the winter rehang will be "A New Dawn" If your artwork has been on display at the gallery for longer than 6 months, please change it out with another piece (this art can always return for another rehang in the future). Artists are allowed a maximum of 3 pieces in the show, depending on their size. You can read more about the guidelines on our website asaart.net under the Beachstone Gallery section.

*IMPORTANT REMINDER* If you sell items in the bins or cards with us, please make sure there is a back sticker on the item you're selling, otherwise it will be hard to pay you. You can find these tags in the gray file cabinet on the same wall as the kitchen, in a drawer labeled "Display Tags", along with some tape.

Our Winter hanging schedule will be:
  • From now until January 3rd – You are welcome to bring in art to the intake room. You may store the art under the printer in the vertical slots. 3D art can be placed on the shelf on the same side. Please make sure to sign your art into the log which is located in the bottom drawer of the same set of drawers where the display tags are located.
  • Monday January 4th – Deadline for art intake/pickup at the gallery 10 to 5 pm - deadline to submit work into the show
  • Thursday January 7th - Art rehang 9 am to 12 pm

Also, please make sure your membership is up to date for 2021. Many memberships are expiring at the end of the year. To display in this show, artists must be a member with display privileges (which is an add-on to the regular membership when you purchase it online).

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with the winter rehang. Please email gallerycoordinator@asaart.net if you're interested or have any other questions about the rehang. Thank you!
