From: Artists' Studio

Hello everyone,

This is the second of a series of notes from our ASA Board and members. These notes will be anything from a tour of their studio to a description of what they've been doing during 2020 and the shutdown up to now.

We hope these will give you some ideas and inspiration to keep your creative juices flowing.  Below we have Arlon Gilliland, next week join us again for a note from Stephanie Reitmajer.

Hope everyone is doing okay. I have been trying hard to stay busy with my art since we have been shut down at ASA.

I have been catching up with art that that I had not finished for a while. I have finally completed about seventy-five unfinished paintings and sculpted thirty clay masks. I still have many more to go. Many of these were paintings that I had started during our Guided Open Studios so you may see one or two that look familiar.  I have just been trying to keep busy and to get through all the hard times we are all in.

Let’s hope that things will get back to normal soon. I'm sending just a few samples of my art.

Take care, hope to see everyone soon!

Arlon
