Thursday Guided Open Studio with Arlon Gilliland
September 9th
One of our most valued perks for ASA members is back on Thursday afternoons! 
 
Tomorrow, Thursday, September 9th from 1 to 4 pm, Arlon will host his weekly Guided Open Studio in the ASA Classroom. The project this week will be Fruits and VegetablesArlon will have photos and other references available.  Come and enjoy an afternoon of painting with Arlon.
 
 Registration is not required but currently masks are. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination.
 
Please remember that Open Studio is for current ASA members.
  If you would like to attend, please help ASA survive the pandemic by joining this very worthy non-profit organization.

Classes, Classes, Classes

Yes! We can’t say it enough because we’re so excited. We’ve all been waiting for this and now it's here, painting, dyeing, mosaic, mixed media, and new this season, an introduction to resin. 

The Summer class schedule is available on the ASA website.  Click the Class Brochure menu to see a printable copy with short descriptions.  Click on the Events menu and select Classes and Workshops to see full class details and to reserve your place.  Find Open Studio information listed under Events, Free for Members.  

Classes are filling up fast, but the next two classes coming up that still have seats left are:
Introduction to Resin Art, instructor Mike Palmer, a two day class offered on Friday and Saturday, September 17th and 18th  from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm INTRODUCTION TO RESIN ART - 9/17/2021 (click on the link for more details and an opportunity to enroll).

Oceans of Fun! Mixed Media using Polymer Clay instructor Michele Lindsley, a one day class offered on Saturday, September 25th  from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm "OCEANS OF FUN!" MIXED MEDIA USING POLYMER CLAY - 9/25/2021 (click on the link for more details and an opportunity to enroll).




CLASS PROPOSALS IN OUR NEXT ASA BROCHURE

Attention upcoming ASA instructors –

Have you been thinking of teaching a class at the ASA Classroom this fall?   We have information about teaching in our classroom on the Instructors page. We are in the process of preparing the brochure for the fall.   Please submit a class proposal to us and we will get you class on the calendar.   (Also we will need an image of the subject of your class)

Class proposals can be submitted at any time to scheduler@asaart.net and we can add them to the website. BUT, if you want the class to appear in the October, November, December printed brochure, those proposals must be submitted by the evening of Sunday, September 19, 2021.

If you would like to submit a class proposal but haven't done it yet, please fill out a Class Proposal Form 2020 (you need to be signed in to the website to use this link).  If you are unable to see the proposal using the link, you can request a copy of the form be emailed to you by emailing either:
