Thursday Guided Open Studio with Arlon Gilliland
December the 2nd
One of our most valued perks for ASA members is back on Thursday afternoons! 
This Thursday, December 2nd from 1 to 4 pm, Arlon will host his weekly Guided Open Studio in the ASA Classroom. The project this week will be Snowy Mountains and reflected snowy mountains.
Arlon has sample paintings or you can bring in your own photos and ideas to work on.
 
Registration is not required but currently masks are. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination.

Yes! We can’t say it enough because we’re so excited. We’ve all been waiting for this and now it's here, painting, dyeing, mosaic, mixed media, and new this season, an introduction to resin.

A CREATIVE CANVAS - MIXED MEDIA USING POLYMER CLAY Instructor: Michele Lindsley
 
Saturday, December 11 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM Explore polymer clay as the basis for mixed media art. Create a miniature artwork using clay, textures, acrylic paint, mica powder and “doodads”. Come play with us. Beginners welcome, no experience necessary

 

 

 

 

DIY MANDALA “STONES” -Instructor: Kathy Cope says "We had a good time in the DIY art stones class where students made their own stones from plaster, then had a chance to choose something already made and cured to paint".
