This Thursday, January 13th from 1 to 4 pm, Arlon will host his weekly Guided Open Studio in the ASA Classroom.  This week, will be COLORFUL FLOWERS.   "We are planning to paint bright colored flowers by splashing colors down then make flower impressions rather than very detailed flowers."
Arlon has sample paintings or you can bring in your own photos and ideas to work on.

Registration is not required but currently masks are. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination.

Classes, Classes, Classes

Yes! We can’t say it enough because we’re so excited. We’ve all been waiting for the winter classes brochure and it's here, painting, dyeing, mosaic, mixed media, some old favorites and perhaps something new this season.  Brochures can be picked up in the ASA classroom.

It's available Click HERE to see the electronic version. You can also go to the Events menu on our website and select Classes and Workshops to see full class details and to reserve your place.  Find Open Studio information listed under Events, Free for Members.

Classes will fill up fast, so you will want to check out what's coming as soon as it's here.

AND NOW FOR A BIT OF SAD NEWS

To All,

We are very sad to tell everyone that our dear friend and fellow artist Ralph Elliott has passed away.  He was a former member of ASA where he taught classes and displayed his photography.  He was also a long time member of the Co-op gallery.  Ralph had a love of art, an infectious laugh and willingness to help others.

His family is having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, Jan 22 from 2-4pm at the Lincoln City Cultural Center.  Ralph's artwork will also be on display that day from 10am to 4pm.

Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone that may have known him.
