Thursday Guided Open Studio with Arlon Gilliland
One of our most valued perks for ASA members is here Thursday afternoons!
This Thursday, May 19th from 1 to 4 pm, Arlon will host his weekly Guided Open Studio in the ASA Classroom.  This week will be instruction on PAINTING WITH A STRAW
Arlon has sample paintings and photos for reference or you can bring in your own photos and ideas to work on.

You are most welcome to come and work on a painting of your choice during this time.

Registration is not required but UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE please be prepared to wear a mask.

The Artists' Studio Association (ASA) maintains a Community Art Center.

It is a gathering place dedicated to arts education and displaying member's work.

During the April Member Potluck, there was discussion about starting a CRITIQUE GROUP.  A critique group, sometimes called a CREATIVE CLUSTER can be a respectful way to get feedback  or find guidance for your artwork.

Members please take a minute to answer this 4 question survey about starting such a group.  This survey is for ASA members only, and you must be logged in with your member name and password to reply.

We need your feedback, and the board thanks you for your support.    LINK TO THE SURVEY

ASA members with basic mosaic skills and safety training meet to create.

ASA instructors are preparing for spring classes.  Find all of our events online on the Events TAB  or click on Class Brochure for a printable copy.

Classes, Classes, Classes

The spring brochure is here, if you are an artist, and would like to teach a class, please notify Jeanette Mahoney

jeanette@jmahoneyart.com   To see about getting on the schedule, there may still be some openings.

The winter classes were great, painting, dyeing, mosaic, mixed media, some old favorites and perhaps something new in the season.  Brochures can always be picked up in the ASA classroom.

Click HERE to see the electronic version. You can also go to the Events menu on our website and select Classes and Workshops to see full class details and to reserve your place.  Find Open Studio information listed under Events, Free for Members.

Classes will fill up fast, so you will want to check out what's coming as soon as it's here.
