About this event

Experience a very exciting technique for painting with oil. Adding cold wax, marble dust, and mediums you can create exceptional works of art. Appropriate for all artists from realism to abstraction. We will finish multiple paintings on paper or panel working to develop the limitless techniques in the medium. Blend layers together, scrape and pull back, add marks from pastels and tools of all kinds, work with brush for detail, add collage, unlimited possibilities! Have fun, discover a fabulous medium!   • Small can Gamblin Cold Wax
  • Pad Arches oil paper
  • Tubes of oil paint in colors you love plus white Catalyst Wedge W-06 Calcium Carbonate Galkyd Gel,
  • Gamblin shop towels Baby oil ( for cleaning)
  • Comments: My students have discounts at Merri Artist in McMinnville , they will ship to you.
Instructor will provide ($20 materials fee to be paid directly to instructor in cash on first class day)
  • Custom notebook
  • Mark Making tools (paint markers, stabilo woodies, maribu art crayons, chalk and pan pastels, art graffiti, pigment sticks)
