Mixed Media Art and Tea by the Sea

About this event

Come ready to play and learn the joy of mixed media! We will paint while sipping organic teas from vintage teacups and enjoy a full sweet and savory high tea menu.

Description

In this class we will paint loose florals and teacups using watercolor. Once dry we will decorate and outline our florals and cups with pens. We will add fine details by using markers to create patterns, doodles, and marks. Stamps and stencils can also be used. Anything goes, we will just play.

Once decorated, we will cut them out and create bouquets. This is the fun part. Each one will be unique. These bouquets can be used for cards or used in your art journaling spreads.

We will leave with at least two (2) cards to take home.

Everyone is invited! Beginners welcome, no experience necessary, but previous watercolor and drawing experience is helpful.
