A NOTE FROM KATHY COPE

REHANG

Hi folks.  Time to start thinking about the winter rehang.  It will be held on Monday, December 29th, which means that artwork needs to be in the gallery no later than Sunday, December 28th.  If you have a legitimate reason for not being able to get your artwork in by that date, please contact me and we'll work something out.  You can, of course, bring in your work earlier if that works best for you.... and please put it in the slots underneath the printer in the utility room.
the GUIDELINES HAVE NOT CHANGED, and are always available on the website after you log in, go to the drop down box and choose Members Only, then Documents, then Artists Studio Gallery.  To go over just a few things that always come up as issues during the rehang,

FIRST, let me repeat that I need you to have your Artwork in on time.....
SECOND, the number of pieces you're allowed to bring for hanging should stay the same.... three small pieces (12" per side) and two  medium pieces (20" per side)  and one large piece (up to 36" per side) .  How much we will be able to hang will also be influenced by the number of artists bringing artwork in and the  overall size of that artwork.  We will do the best we can to display all your submitted work.
THIRD, if you have 3-D pieces, contact me and we'll figure out how to best display the.
FOURTH, two tags, folks...a big one for the wall and a small one for PAA's use in the event of a sale.  Please use the official tags, not your own (even though the tags you designed may be quite nice).
LASTLY, the pieces need to be wired for hanging.  Sawtooth hangers are not allowed.  There are rare instances where a hanging mechanism has been built into a metal frame, please contact me before bringing in your artwork.

RECEPTION

The reception will be held in conjunction with PAA the following Friday, January 2nd.  At this time, we are planning to hold it from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
