CHRISTMAS PARTY

This year, for the first time at the Christmas Party, we asked attendees to bring something for the food bank. The notice went out really late, so not everybody knew about it but, even so, we collected a wide variety of food stuffs and quite a bit of it. Thank you all for sharing at a time when, I think, so many people are going to have a very difficult winter.

Thursday Guided Open Studio with Arlon Gilliland

One of our most valued perks for ASA members is here Thursday afternoons!

This Thursday THERE WILL BE OPEN STUDIO THIS WEEK. DECEMBER 18th WE WILL BE PAINTING SEA OTTERS.....DO NOT HAVE REFERENCE PAINTINGS, BUT DO HAVE REFERENCE PHOTOS.

BE CREATIVE AND FEEL FREE TO TRY NEW TECHNIQURES.

HAVE REFERENCE PHOTOS ONLY

SO YOU CAN HAVE FUN AND DO YOUR OWN DISIGN

lovely, unique artwork using glass, tile, grout and imagination. ASA members with a basic knowledge of mosaic techniques and safety are welcome.

This is an “Open” exploratory, watercolor/acrylic for all levels. Every week will be a different technique or approach, some new, some old, using a variety of mediums and surfaces.

GUIDED WATERCOLOR OPEN STUDIO

Thursdays 1pm - 4pm
Guided by Arlon, members practice painting skills in a friendly supportive atmosphere. Follow the planned lesson or bring your own project. You provide your own materials.
