Dear ASA Members,
As we jump into 2026, we’d like to share a few updates from the ASA Board as we care for our shared spaces and gear up for an active year ahead.
Gallery Landscaping Refresh
Our front gallery landscaping will soon be getting a much-needed clean-up. To help keep it looking its best going forward, we’ve formed a group of volunteer gardeners. This is a friendly bunch with green thumbs and dedication! If you’d like to join in, please let us know—we’d love to have you.
Gallery Updates
You may have noticed some recent changes in the gallery. Our new Gallery Chair, Olivia Longley, along with assistant Leslie Olesen, have been busy rearranging and refreshing the space. This includes adding numbers to bins, reorganizing the card wall, and taking care of some important housekeeping details. Their efforts are helping keep the gallery welcoming, organized, and easy to navigate—thank you both!
Website and Weekly Communications
As you’ve likely noticed, we are slowly rehauling the ASA website to better serve our members and the community. At the same time, our Communications Chair, Tara Choate, is doing a fabulous job with weekly updates and scheduling, keeping us all “in the loop.” Thank you, Tara, for your dedication and clear communication!
Kitchen Beverage Pricing Update
After careful consideration and reviewing current costs, we will be adjusting the price of drinks provided in the ASA kitchen to $1 per item. It has been many years since this area has seen an increase, and this update helps us keep up with rising expenses. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Looking Ahead: Lincoln City Community Garage Sale
The Lincoln City Community Garage Sale is coming up in April. Once again, Kathy Cope will be coordinating the collection of your artistic “cast-offs” as she prepares for this event. She’d be happy to receive your items—and if you’d like to sign up to help during the sale weekend, please let her know. More details will be coming directly from Kathy soon.
We truly appreciate the time, talent, and care our members bring to ASA. Thank you for being such an engaged and generous community.
Warm regards,
The ASA Board
