Personalize your dream journal with a mixed media creation using polymer clay as the basis.   Incorporate collage, acrylic painting and "doodads" into an inviting cover.   Discover the amazing properties of polymer clay as you manipulate and alter the clay using a variety of techniques.

Student experienceBeginners welcome, no experience necessary.  

 

Materials provided by student:

4 blocks of 2 oz. Sculpey clay - you choose the colors.  Focal piece of jewelry, metal, glass or paper to embed in the clay cover - optional. 


Materials provided by instructor:  Available to students for use during class workshop:  tools, work surface, and other materials (paints, glue, texture & rubber stamps, stencils, clay cutters and clay ovens).   Blank journal of appropriate project size, limited assortment of embellishments.

 


Minimum: 4 students     Maximum:  8 students

Cost:  Members $60.00/Non-Members $65.00
* $10 material fee to be paid in class

Registration is not Required
Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
