ASA Members...Thanks to all of you that brought in artwork for the Winter Rehang.  Please pick up your work that was taken down as soon as possible.  When we have so many pieces left to store, it really increases the chance that some may be damaged.  Thank you

A NOTE FROM ASA
 
Following the Rehang as usual, there will also be an art reception in conjunction with the Co-op Gallery, making it a lively evening for all.  There will be food and drink so please come join us in celebration of new art and perhaps even new artists and a chance to see the new display of art for the featured artist of the month.

Thursday Guided Open Studio with Arlon Gilliland
One of our most valued perks for ASA members is here Thursday afternoons! 
This Thursday, OCTOBER 3RD .....ARLON WILL BE hosting his weekly Guided Open Studio in the ASA Classroom.
THIS WEEK WE WILL BE HOSTED BY KAREN KASITZ...YOU WILL BRING YOUR OWN REFERENCE, AND WE WILL BE WORKING ON  NEUTRAL COLORS THIS WEEK!
BE CREATIVE AND FEEL FREE TO TRY NEW TECHNIQURES.
 
 
HAVE REFERENCE ART
 
Registration is not required but UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

What is art if you don’t have fun? This is an "Open" explorative, abstract class for all levels where everyone is both student and teacher.  Every week will be a different technique or approach, some new, some old, using a variety of mediums and surfaces.   Come prepared to play and learn. 

Student experience: Beginners are welcome, no experience necessary.  This class is for everyone.  New processes and new materials with which to experiment!


Comments: This is an open, drop in class.

The FALL CLASS brochure will soon be here, if you are an artist, and would like to teach a class, please notify the class scheduler

scheduler@asaart.net.  To see about getting on the schedule, there may still be some openings. 
 

Click Summer Classes 2024 to see the electronic version of current classes. You can also go to the Events menu on our website and select Classes and Workshops to see full class details and to reserve your place.  Find Open Studio information listed under Events, Free for Members.  

Classes will fill up fast, so you will want to check out what's coming as soon as it's here.
