A NOTE FROM OUR GALLERY COORDINATOR

WINTER REHANG
Once again the Gallery has a whole new look with some really impressive artwork from many artists.  Thanks to all who contributed to it.
The fact that so much artwork is coming in now for the rehangs gives us a potential space problem.  A while back I made some small changes in the size requirements, resulting in somewhat larger pieces qualifying in each category.  I'm going back to the original size restrictions.  You will see these in the next set of instructions that go out.  Also, I'm going to strictly honor the cutoff date/time for art submissions.  To help alleviate confusion that seems to crop up each term, I've posted a list of upcoming dates in the Gallery on the bulletin board to the left of the bathroom.  Submission and rehang dates can also be found on the Home Page of ASA's website and on the website Calendar.  You don't even have to log in to see them.

The RECEPTION following the rehang was also quite enjoyable.  I would really urge ASA members to support the organization and for participating artists to stop by by receptions, as it's well worth it.  Also regarding receptions, I would like to put our a request for some help...one person each quarter who would be willing to stay to the end to help with cleaning up, getting the garbage out and setting the tables back up.  It would be so much easier with two people and I would really appreciate it.
