A NOTE FROM YOUR GALLERY COORDINATOR
THE REHANG AND RECEPTION

The gallery has been hung with new and beautiful, as well as interesting and unique works of art.  Friday was a great success.  Our Gallery was packed with people until after 6:30 when the crowds began thinning out.  Almost all the food was eaten (always a good sign) and folks had a chance to meet up with other folks they hadn't seen in a while.  Thanks also to Diane Jackson for coming early to help set up and staying late to help clean up.  And a special thanks to Steve and Vonelle for setting all the tables back up for me.  That's a big job that I really don't look forward to at the end of a long day.

The summer rehang will take place again on June 30 which means Art must be in the studio by June 29.  Mark your calendars.  The reception will be held on Saturday, July 5the, a deviation for the norm.  Again mark your calendars!

GARAGE SALE

ASA's Garage Sale is coming up this month and will run from April 18-20.  I could really use some help Thursday afternoon (April 17) at 4:00 after Arlon's class.  Here is a list of Things to Do.
  1. Move 3 white display stands and 2 A-frame stands from outdoor storage to Gallery and set up
  2. Hang frames on one side of white display stands.  Hang donated pictures on the other side (mix it up a bit)
  3. Set out the beads on the instructors' table and one or both of the A-frames.
  4. Set out boxes of stuff on the appropriate tables, unpack and organize.  Boxes will be grouped together, for the most part, by table to help get them out and organized quickly.
  5. Before you leave, take a moment to preview what's being offered.  This is your chance to pick out treasures before ethe public has a go at them.
At present, I have the beads set out at my place.  I will be picking them up in the next couple of days.  If you would like to look them over, let me know and we'll arrange a time before they get packed up again.
