A NOTE FROM YOUR GALLERY COORDINATOR

ASA'S RAISE THE ROOF GARAGE SALE

ASA's Garage Sale is coming up this month and will run from April 18,19 & 20 from 10:00 to 4:00. SO much stuff has been donated and will be sold at distinctly garage sale prices. Don't miss out.

Lots of really great books, Brad's, Beads, BEADS! Paints, oils, acrylics, and gesso, inks/ink pads, powered dyes, marbling supplies, pastel and water color sets, colored pencils, crayons, brushes, scissors, misc., small tools, glue gun, glue sticks, stamp/embossing set, envelopes of all sizes, 3-drwer storage cube, bins pads of paper for watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, yupo, charcoal, paper, carbon paper, tracing paper, collage supplies, frames of all sizes, framed metsker's map of Lincoln City, glues, paint additives, modeling clay, wax melter an beeswax, mat cutter, mat board, scrapbooking tools, fiesta ware, tortilla warmer an serving bowls, old time-type phone and so much more!

Sale will take place in the ASA studio/gallery at 620 NE Hwy 101, (across the hwy from Dutch Brothers Coffee)...from 10-4 each of the three days. Be sure and put us on your garage sale map...(there may even be cookies).

ALSO: Many of you who have brought in donation have brought them in very nice bins. Please let me know if you would like those back.

Thursday Guided Open Studio with Arlon Gilliland

One of our most valued perks for ASA members is here Thursday afternoons!

This Thursday THERE WILL BE OPEN STUDIO.. APRIL 17th WE WILL BE PAINTING BIRD FEATHERS...EITHER REALISTIC OR FANTASY.... Arlon WILL BE HOSTING his weekly Guided Open Studio in the ASA Classroom.

BE CREATIVE AND FEEL FREE TO TRY NEW TECHNIQURES.

HAVE REFERENCE ART

BUT YOU CAN HAVE FUN AND DO YOUR OWN DISIGN

lovely, unique artwork using glass, tile, grout and imagination. ASA members with a basic knowledge of mosaic techniques and safety are welcome.

This is an “Open” exploratory, watercolor/acrylic for all levels. Every week will be a different technique or approach, some new, some old, using a variety of mediums and surfaces.

Thursdays 1pm - 4pm
Guided by Arlon, members practice painting skills in a friendly supportive atmosphere. Follow the planned lesson or bring your own project. You provide your own materials.
