WORK TIME IN THE GARDEN

A week or so ago, I scheduled a work time for the garden on that Saturday from 10 to 12. I want to thank Arlon and Tara Choate for coming and putting in a tremendous amount of work. Believe me, if you need heavy rocks moved, Tara is your girl. I would like to schedule another work party, but my weekends are pretty busy for a little while so I'm not sure when it will be, AND I do want to say that any ASA member who would like to help out by cleaning up the gardens at ASA is welcome to do so at any time. It's mainly getting the grass and weeds out and a little bit here and there can make a big difference.

When you use things provided by the studio, please make sure that they are cleaned up and put away before you leave. At this time I am specifically referring to the counter next to the utility room sink which is presently covered with plastic containers used to wash out brushes. When you use one of these containers . please rinse it out and put it back on the shelves.

This also applies to cups, plates and utensils from the kitchen.

Also, if yo use sharp instruments or broken glass, please monitor your area carefully before you leave. I found a razor blade on the floor under one of the tables.

As a reminder, we do have guests ...as tourists with children, etc., wondering through our gallery on a daily basis. Please keep it clean, neat and SAFE. Thank you,

This is an “Open” exploratory, watercolor/acrylic for all levels. Every week will be a different technique or approach, some new, some old, using a variety of mediums and surfaces.

Thursdays 1pm - 4pm
Guided by Arlon, members practice painting skills in a friendly supportive atmosphere. Follow the planned lesson or bring your own project. You provide your own materials.
