Dye Your Own Silk Scarf  Instructor: Ruth Hugeback – 541-921-5543

Enjoy learning this colorful, easy technique.

This class will teach students to dye their own silk scarf using bleeding tissue paper to quickly create a beautiful, lasting design. Instructor will also provide information about other silk dyeing methods and techniques.  No experience is needed and this is a fun way to create a beautiful gift or addition to your own wardrobe.

Each student will dye 2 scarves.  Bring a friend and share a fun afternoon.

 

Materials students should provide: None - wear washable clothes

Materials provided by the instructor: All materials provided.

Fee: $35 for ASA members and $40 for non-members.

 

Expected ability Level: No experience necessary.

 

Number of Students: Minimum 3 / Maximum 10

Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
