This is a 1 day class

Embellish a small wooden frame with polymer clay, creating a niche that displays a small, treasured ornament. The shallow recess opens up more opportunities as we explore mixed media art. Create “tiles”, apply textures, stamps, acrylic paint and “doodads” to add dimension. Come play along with us!

 

Materials students should provide: Small jewelry, ornament, or figure for a centerpiece, less than 2 x 2 inches.

Materials provided by the instructor: Wood frame, three 2 oz packages of Sculpey III clay. Additional tools and other materials (paints, glue, texture & rubber stamps, clay cutters and clay ovens) available to students for use during class workshop.

 

Fee: $60 for ASA members and $65 for non-members. 

Materials fee:  $12.00  plan to pay materials fee with cash or check at the beginning of class

 

Expected ability Level: No experience necessary.

Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
