Explore Assemblage and mixed media art techniques in combination with polymer clay.  Create a colorful Fishy Friend with embellishments and painted finishes.  Play with found objects, stencils and textures to create depth and interest in your art piece.  We will cure the polymer clay-based pieces in special ovens.   Each "something fishy' will be uniquely yours!

Student experience: Beginners welcome, no experience necessary.  

 

Materials provided by student:

3 Blocks of 2 oz. Sculpey III clay - you choose the color(s).  Doodads and Embellishments - optional.


Materials provided by instructor
FISHY substrate, limited assortment of embellishments.  Available to students for use during class workshop:  tools, work surface, and other materials (paints, texture paste, glue, texture & rubber stamps, stencils, clay cutters and clay ovens.

 


Minimum: 4 students     Maximum:  8 students

Cost:  Members $65.00/Non-Members $70.00

Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels or withdraws from a class:
One week or more before a class begins, a cancellation fee of $5 for ASA plus the amount required by the instructor will be charged.
Less than one week before a class begins, no refund of registration and materials fees will be made.
If one or more classes in a series are missed due to student absence no refund will be made. Make up sessions may or may not be offered at the discretion of individual instructors.
ASA will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. ASA will attempt to remain open during inclement weather. If necessity requires, ASA will cancel classes and studio activities whenever local school closures occur. If ASA cancels a class for any reason: A full refund of class registration and materials fees will be made.
ASA will make every effort to notify students of class cancellations at least one week in advance.
