COVID-19 Precautions and Closures

Artists’ Studio Association COVID-19 Precautions

The Artists’ Studio Association (ASA) maintains a community art center. This center is
a gathering place dedicated to displaying its members’ artwork and an art studio work
space. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable visiting the gallery, attending art
instruction or using the studio during the pandemic. The ASA is monitoring the
guidelines set by the State of Oregon and adapting its procedures to protect visitors,
instructors and class participants. We have implemented the following:

Face coverings: Everyone in the building must wear a face covering. Building
capacity is limited to state of Oregon set guidelines.

Physical distancing: A minimum of 6 feet must be maintained between you and any
other person outside your household at all times.

Hand washing and sanitation: The ASA has provided hand-sanitizer at the entrance
to the studio. Hand washing supplies are provided at the paint washing sink and the
restroom. Gloves and sanitizing wipes are also available for your use while in the
studio.

Sanitation Procedures: The studio and gallery is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized on
a monthly basis. The restroom surfaces are wiped daily with sanitizing solutions.
Chairs and table surfaces are sanitized prior to the beginning of scheduled classes,
and then again at the end of classes.

Class Attendance: Face coverings are required during class. Class size is limited to 4
participants. The art studio seating is arranged to allow for a minimum of six feet
physical distance between you and others. If an instructor must cancel due to illness,
participants receive a full refund. Additionally, if registered for one of our classes and
you or a family member becomes ill with COVID-19 you may request a full refund. No
shared refreshments are allowed during class.
