ASA 2021 Juried Art Show

Ebb & Flow

What an appropriate theme for our Annual Juried Show!  It’s beachy and it reflects upon the tides of life we have experienced recently.  We look forward to seeing what everyone has been up to in these times!  All ASA members are invited to submit up to 2 pieces for our upcoming juried show.  You can elect to have your art juried or not.  You may place your art for sale or not.  But we want to see your good work!

Submissions are only limited by number: 2 per artist.  They can be any size and in any medium.  Work must be original and completed after January 1, 2020.

We are pleased to announce our two judges, Nora Sherwood and Dave Cook who bring expertise in a wide variety of mediums as well as extensive experience in education and providing artistic critique.

Depending on entries, we will award Best of Show and First and Second awards in separate categories which might include 3D, 2D, photography, and mixed media.  We will decide based on submissions.  Beyond award recognition, this is your opportunity to showcase your work for the summer and gain valuable feedback from our judges.

Please drop off your entries in the intake room at the Beachstone Gallery June 13, 14, or 15.  Entry forms and Hold Harmless agreements will be available on-site or you can download and print them yourself here.  Please complete a simple price tag which will be available on site.  The show will hang on June 18 with judging on June 19.  Ebb & Flow will be on display until our next gallery rehang on September 30.

If you need your work before the end of the show, you are welcome to remove or replace it.  Just get in touch with Lorraine, our gallery coordinator at gallerycoordinator@asaart.net with any questions about the show.

As we move closer to our show opening, we will be promoting on social media and would love to have images to include.  If you have high quality digital photos, please email these to gallerycoordinator@asaart.net.
