Subject: ASA Update
From: Artists' Studio

Members and friends of ASA,

ASA is a community organization that, for 75 years, has offered inexpensive, high-quality classes by experienced artists who have been willing to share their expertise in order to bring a valuable art experience to all community members.  Beachstone Gallery gives artists at all levels of experience an opportunity to display their work.

The last two years have taken their toll. Classes were cancelled as were in-person meetings which has impacted all of us. Fortunately, we are able to offer classes and open studios again. The board members have talked about offering board meetings via Zoom to any interested club member and we are examining ways that members can begin safely socializing with one another. We all need that.

On the other hand, the board has lost several members during this time. Old members have stepped up to help, but this is only a temporary measure. If ASA is to continue, we need a full complement of board members with new members who can bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Please consider becoming part of the governing body of the organization. All skill sets and levels of experience are welcome. Without your help, it may not be possible for ASA to continue offering the same level of services to artists and the community.

If you are interested in helping ASA continue and grow, please reply to this email or speak to one of our current Board members.
Thank you hope to hear from you soon!
