Thursday Guided Open Studio with Arlon Gilliland
One of our most valued perks for ASA members is here Thursday afternoons! 
This Thursday, JANUARY 5TH from 1 to 4 pm, Arlon will host his weekly Guided Open Studio in the ASA Classroom.  This week will be about painting SPLATTER TECHNIQUE, LOOSE AND SPLASHY. Try to loosen up for a freer look.
Arlon has  sample paintings and photos for reference or you can bring in your own photos and ideas to work on.
 
Arlon's next studio will be January 5th of 2023, so come enjoy the goodies and artwork for Arlon's his studio of this year.
 

Registration is not required but UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE please be prepared to wear a mask.

Christmas trees are down now and any ornaments left have been put in the maroon box on the shelf above the printer in the utility room
 
 IMPORTANT NEWS
The usual Pot Luck night has been moved to Sunday January 15th at which time there will be the annual membership meeting including voting for board members, so your presents will be needed and much appreciated.  As well there will be a potluck from 1:30--3:30.  We will celebrate the new year with a White Elephant event.  To be included in this event please bring one wrapped gift (keeping the value low please). It is always a bunch of fun, lets have a good turnout for a good start to the new year.

OPEN STUDIO EXPLORATION  OPPORTUNITY

ASA members enjoy free open studio.
Besides Tuesday's Mosaic open studio and Arlon's on Thursday's, you now have another opportunity for Art Exploration on Wednesday's.  Host Bonnie Holubetz will facilitate a hands on, group learning and discussions.  You're going to love this.  Check the calendar for dates.

The WINTER brochure is here, if you are an artist, and would like to teach a class, please notify Jeanette Mahoney

The FAll classes were great, painting, dyeing, mosaic, mixed media, some old favorites and perhaps something new in the season.  Brochures can always be picked up in the ASA classroom.
